It is a dark day. The island I am in love with was sold late 2005 and there is no way as of now to contact the owner. It was listed at $575,000 and it was my dream to buy it and build a small resort and personal residence. Everything about the island was idyllic, maybe 5 years and a couple million dollars in the future it will be once again available. Til then, the search continues for a new island that can offer as much for as little.

for anyone who wants to see it, here it is...

Ok so I went to NYC and did all that stuff, I got two big medals and got to walk on stage at Carnegie Hall. Anyway, I have my 30D now, it's amazing, I bought me a Canon EF 100mm F2.8 Macro lens and an iPhone, yeah that's right; iPhone. so That thing kicks ass too! And to top it all off I was chosen as 1 of 5 of the Scholastic Art & writing Awards Alums to design the call to submissions poster for next year, I sent in my idea and they chose me, 1 out of 5 out of 750 out of 77,000 out of the nation. That's me out of the alums chosen to do the poster out of the national awards recipients out of the regional awards recipients out of the whole United States! I hate to sound conceited, but I must be pretty good to get that kind of recognition! love me hate me, I still love you...

Let me know what you think.

ok so anyone who will actually read this probably already knows, but it's still pretty cool so i'll post it anyway. Back in the beginning of the year, I was awarded two gold key awards for an individual piece and a portfolio of 8 pieces in the scholastic art and writing awards competition, a gold key is the highest award you can receive in regionals. last night i got an email telling me i'd won a gold and a silver key in the national competition. yay, so this means i gt to go accept my awards in new york and most likely get a full ride to the Art Center College of Design in california. yay again. i'll post again....eventually about the outcome of this competition and the whole college thing. until then,

peace, love, and spongebob squarepants.
